Paul Trotter

Brisbane-based architect Paul Trotter, from Fulton Trotter Architects has collaborated with his daughter, Clare, to craft “A Diary for Day Dreamers” – a diary to encourage South East Queenslanders to take a break from the world of technology and observe the natural phenomenon of our local climate.

As an architect, Paul has a great interest in the weather and the seasons, and says understanding the climate is crucial to influence and inform sympathetic design.

“A wonderful piece of architecture and the process of design cuts across so many skills, disciplines and relies on an understanding of so many issues – the client, construction techniques, materials and craftsmanship, but most importantly, the environment. At Fulton Trotter Architects, we celebrate the natural environment by providing buildings that respond sensitively to their context and surrounds,” says Trotter.
