By Joost is the brainchild of Rustenburg born, Melbourne based, Joost Bakker. 

Minimising the ecological impact of humans has long been a passion of Joost’s. His Greenhouse project, which has seen temporary and permanent sustainable restaurants set up around Australia, is perhaps his most well known venture to date. 

The current home wares range focuses on sustainable design, and is made from raw, natural elements found in Australian soils. Joost says "I want to bring our food back to the beginning. The pot acts as a reminder that this food has been harvested, planted and grown". Each piece is handmade and unique and can be returned to the earth at the end of its life. The ceramic vessels are dishwasher and microwave safe. By Joost simply ask you to think about waste before using excess water.
